Travis Strain – President
Travis Strain is a Certified Financial Planner who operates his own practice in the Langley community. Travis grew up in Langley, and since moving back over 5 years ago has been active in the community through networking and helping others out. In the recent history Travis has served on local board of directors for over 4 years and took over the presidency of Langley Canada Day in February of 2011. He is also active in the community running Langley and Surrey Green drink nights, which brings together people from the surrounding area’s with a similar interest in eco-friendly solutions in our world. Travis also volunteered with the BC Summer Games when they came through the community in 2010.
Travis plans to be continually active in the Langley community even after his time as the president of Langley Canada Day comes to a close at the end of 2013. He looks forward to new ventures and helping others in the community in other ways.

Jeanne Hansen – Secretary
Jeanne and her husband Colin, have 3 great kids (Sarah, Aaron and Jake) and have lived in Langley for 13 years. As well as serving on Langley Canada Day Celebration Society’s board of directors since February of 2011, Jeanne has served on other boards in the community. She has extensive experience organizing events which helps to support the Langley community, her kids’ sports organizations and their schools. The Hansen family love to spend their time together enjoying all their city and province have to offer and been blessed to travel the world, with many more adventures still to come. Jeanne looks forward to another successful Canada Day in Langley in 2013!

Tammy Bozzard – Director of Volunteers
Tammy is proud to call Langley her hometown. Tammy is the owner of Construcbooks Business Services
as a professional organizer and bookkeeper. Tammy believes in giving back to the community by volunteering and has volunteered at the BC Summer Games and with many other organization in the community.

Roger Ferguson – Director of Food Concessions
Roger has been with the Langley Canada Day Celebration Society for three sessions as the Director of Food Concessions. He has over 25 years in the industry and is a very knowledgeable, get-it-done kinda guy. He and his wife are residents of Langley and have been for over 5 years. They have lived in the Fraser Valley since 1978.
Roger retired from the workforce in 2004. He opened his business, Smokey Express Special Events Concessions LTD in 1985. He and his wife travel to many events every year, providing wonderfully delicious mini donuts, burgers, smokies and much more.
