Over the past sixteen years, the Langley Canada Day Celebrations have become a premiere community event with record-setting attendance, family fun and entertainment, community bonding and pride in affirming Canada’s heritage.

This  event, traditionally held on July 1st,  draws tens of thousands of people, of all ages and abilities, to Langley from surrounding communities.  It was voted #1 Summer Festival in the 2008 Langley Advance Annual Reader’s Choice Best of the Best Awards and was mentioned by Prime Minister Stephen Harper in his 2006 Canada Day remarks on Parliament Hill.

Family activities, rides, main-stage entertainment, a car show, an assortment of ethnic foods, dog show, fireworks, pony rides, and much more are all on the menu for this fun-filled and exciting family event.

This year, we make history again. For Thirteen years the Langley International Festival Society has built a two-day top quality, multicultural event in our community, this year we have been honoured with the responsibility of running Canada Day in Langley. We, at the society, are thrilled for this opportunity and we are working hard to bring an event that the Langley community can feel very proud of that reaffirms our heritage and the multiculturalism that has been a part of our country since day one.

Our  volunteer Board Of Directors are working hard throughout the year preparing a celebration this year that promise to be great, now in a new location and bringing the best of the Canada Day tradition and the excitement of the Langley’s International Festival. come and join us for four days of music, food, plenty of things to do for the whole family and lots and lots of fun.

On the days of the event, we have an amazing group of volunteers who join us from the community to help ensure that all who attend enjoy the festivities. Without these volunteers we would not be able to bring this amazing event to Langley.  If you are interested in joining our volunteer team, click here or go to our volunteers page on this website.
